Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
The short version:
- No setup fee and no contract. Cancel anytime, online, in two clicks.
- Canceling stops the next renewal; your site stays online until the end of the period you paid for.
- Yearly plans: full refund if you cancel within 14 days of your first yearly payment.
- Monthly plans and later periods aren't refunded for unused time, except where the law requires.
1. How to cancel
Sign in at app-staging.skaude.com, open Billing, and choose Payment method, invoices & cancel. You'll get an e-mail confirming the cancellation. You can also e-mail team@skaude.com from your account e-mail and we'll cancel for you.
2. What happens when you cancel
- Your subscription won't renew. You keep full access, and your site stays online, until the end of the current billing period.
- After that, your site goes offline. We keep your content for at least 90 days so you can reactivate and get it back exactly as it was.
- Changed your mind before the period ends? Undo the cancellation from the same Billing screen.
3. Refunds
- Yearly plans: if you cancel within 14 days after your first yearly payment, you can request a full refund of that payment. After 14 days, and for renewals, the yearly fee isn't refundable, but your site stays online through the end of the year you paid for.
- Monthly plans: monthly payments aren't refunded for partial months; canceling stops the next charge.
- Add-ons and plan changes: upgrades are charged prorated; downgrades and removed add-ons become a prorated credit on your next invoices rather than a cash refund.
- Domains: domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once the domain is registered or renewed, because the registry charges for them. The domain remains yours.
- Billing errors: if we charged you in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you canceled), tell us within 60 days and we'll refund it in full.
- Service problems: if your site was unavailable for an extended period because of our failure, contact us and we'll credit or refund the affected time.
Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days after we approve them. To request a refund, e-mail team@skaude.com from your account e-mail.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we'll notify you and retry over several days while your site stays online. If the payment still can't be collected, your site is paused until you update your payment method. Paying the balance brings it back right away.
5. Disputes and chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your bill, please contact us first; we usually resolve billing questions within one business day. Filing a chargeback may pause the account while the dispute is reviewed.
6. Changes
If we change this policy, the version in effect when you paid applies to that payment. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
